Day One Recap

Hi friends.

We had a full day of travel, orientation, and ministry today in San Fran. The students did an incredible job of not losing boarding passes, not screaming on the plane, getting on the right train and generally being overall pretty outstanding examples of humanity.

We arrived in SF around noon and were able to take a couple hours and walk around the city and get some food before the YWAM program started tonight. Most of us had some fantastic pizza. After orientation from the YWAM staff we broke up into smaller groups and went on an adventure to learn about the Tenderloin District from the people living here. It was a great way to kick-off the week by getting acquainted with the community we are serving.

Tomorrow we are going to serve breakfast at Glide Memorial Church and participate in some other outreach activities.

Students are being stretched in all directions. We love and miss you all at home. Please continue to pray for us here!
